Many creatures coexist with humans, including animals, insects, plants, and fungi. This project explores the relationship between humans and other living beings, particularly those that are rarely regarded as equal counterparts. Plants and fungi, whose forms and modes of existence differ significantly from those of humans, often remain beyond the scope of human empathy. This perceptual distance contributes to a disconnection between humans and the natural environment.

To address this gap, the installation translates the electrical activity of plants and fungi into a visual manifestation. Their subtle bioelectrical signals are rendered as a form of virtual breathing, offering a shared rhythmic presence. Through this transformation, the work invites audiences to reconsider the boundaries between species and to sense a possible continuity between human and more-than-human life.
